McNary regarding Washington politics and Seattle history; speeches and poetry, 1912-1916, regarding the Republican Party, the presidential election of 1916 and apple growers; family memorabilia and clippings, circa 1880-1929; diaries of European trip by Mrs. Washburn, 2 volumes, 1884-1885; family recipe book, 1 volume, circa 1920.

Biographical note
Robert Charles Washburn (died 1938) was a journalist and Washington politician, later a resident of Portland, Oregon. He owned an apple ranch near Central Point, Oregon, and married Mary Louise Savier, a Portland resident and benefactor.
