Rominger, van Lydegraf, and Wallen families correspondence

 Collection
Identifier: Coll789

Scope and Contents

The collection consists of letters and greeting cards sent to the Rominger family (primarily to Anna Rominger and Velma Rominger), to Nora Mable (Wallen) van Lydegraf, and to Ellen Laura (Thompson) Wallen. Letters to the Romingers include correspondence from Albert Freeman and Anna Rominger's daughter, Georgia Gladdis Sprague of Idaho. Many of the letters to Nora van Lydegraf are from her sister Grace Setness, and include forwarded letters from her mother, Ellen Wallen; the majority of letters to Ellen Wallen are from her son, Spencer. The collection also includes two Christmas cards addressed to Tom G. Wright and his wife, although the Wrights' connection to the Romingers, van Lydegrafs or Wallens is unclear.
