Biographical note
Lebbus Smith Shumaker (1871-1954) was a Baptist minister and teacher in New York, in the Midwest, and at Linfield College in McMinnville, Oregon, where he was a professor of psychology and philosophy. Upon retirement he became an insurance salesman in McMinnville.
