Scope and Contents

This collection of 272 photographic prints and 255 negatives portrays the life and work of Percy Albert Lockwood from 1908 to circa 1920. Lockwood also photographed extended family gatherings of the William B. Cate family near Eugene and Brownsville, Oregon. A smaller number of photographs document his mother and stepfather's house in the Portland Heights neighborhood, at 580 Hawthorne Terrace (later 1841 SW Hawthorne Terrace), where he boarded for a number of years when he was attending school.
