Watercolor sketch of the ship Lausanne, 24.6 x 18.2 cm., painted by missionary Hamilton Campbell during his journey by ship from New York to Oregon in 1839. The collection also includes typescript document, signed by Campbell's grandson Ben Campbell Holladay, describing the provenance of the sketch.
