Administrative history
City Stable No. 2 was originally constructed in 1909-1910 to house horses for the Portland Fire Department. In the late 1940s, it was remodeled to house Powell Shop and Stores. It was demolished in the 1980s as a part of the widening of Powell Boulevard.
