Disassembled album of photographs from the era of World War II, with images of members of the Everist family of Portland, Oregon, and others. Includes many images of Shirley Everist, June Schmidt, Guy E. Foster, Jr., and the Everist house at 3924 NE 72nd Avenue, Portland. Also included are images of the Naval Training Center in San Diego, beaches at the Oregon coast, other vacation venues, and various soldiers and sailors.

Album was purchased by donor at an auction.

Gift of Loren Williams, January 2012 (Lib. Acc. 27515).

Processing Information

Photographs were removed from the album pages for preservation during processing in 2012; prior to removal of the photographs, photocopies were made of the album pages to document the layout and order of the images. The original album was also retained in the collection. Prior to November 2023, the album was designated Album 904 and titled "Everist family photograph album."
