Includes details of daily life, housework, family, travel, weather, and general community news. On the first page of the first volume is the text: "Diary of Alma Olive Husely Dempsey beginning with the day she came to the homestead in Jefferson County, Oregon, where her husband, Harry Dempsey, had been since Oct. 18th 1915."
