Approximately half the collection relates to Parfums Duvelle, a perfume and cosmetics business; materials include correspondence, price lists and order forms, promotional materials and artwork, and financial records. Other materials in the collection include correspondence; minutes and by-laws of the Chamber of Commerce in Parkrose, Oregon, 1946-1951; records of the Government Island Inter-Club Committee; materials relating to the history of Parkrose and Masonic Lodge No. 179, 1942-1970; papers of the Parkrose Civic Club, Lions Club and Lewis and Clark Trail Heritage Foundation; a 1952 Multnomah County Planning Commission progress report and commission zoning maps; Boy Scout materials, 1970-1976; Sons and Daughters of Oregon Pioneers materials; materials on communism; and miscellaneous materials relating to religious organizations.

Collection primarily consists of records and other papers relating to businesses and organizations in the Portland, Oregon, area. Approximately half the materials concern Parfums Duvelle, a perfume and cosmetics business; these include correspondence, price lists and order forms, promotional materials and artwork, and financial records. The remainder of the collection includes records and other papers relating to the Chamber of Commerce in Parkrose, Oregon, the Government Island Inter-Club Committee, the Parkrose Civic Club, the Lions Club, the Lewis and Clark Trail Heritage Foundation, Boy Scouts, Sons and Daughters of Oregon Pioneers. Also included are materials on communism and materials relating to religious organizations.
