Jacob Miller Barber and Beauty Supply Company was founded in 1916 in Portland, Oregon, and grew to cover Oregon, parts of Washington, Idaho, California, Alaska and Canada. Miller died in 1949, leaving the company to his daughter, Jewell Miller, who kept it until 1954.
