Biographical note

William Wadhams (1831-1905) was a pioneer grocer and founder of the Calvary Presbyterian Church, Sellwood Presbyterian Church, and the Portland YMCA. He was involved in the baseball club, the Skidmore Fountain Association and the penitentiary.
