Kenneth L. Cooper (1884-1972) served with the 364th Infantry during World War I and was elected to the Portland City Commission in 1940. Collection includes papers related to his tenure as Portland City Commissioner, 1940-1945; typescript and manuscript correspondence, 1914-1970, some from World War l; and personal papers and ephemera.

Abstract

Collection consists of 16 black and white photographs and one tintype; subjects include Kenneth L. Cooper, office scenes and co-workers, probably at the U.S. Veterans Bureau, and Cooper family members. Kenneth L. Cooper (1884-1972) was born in The Dalles, Oregon. He served with the 364th Infantry during World War I, and was elected to the Portland City Commission in 1940.
