Oral history interview with Hamada Haaji conducted by Sankar Raman in 2018 for The Immigrant Story. Haaji and his family left Somalia as refugees when he was 6. They were approved for resettlement in the United States in 2014 and immigrated to Clackamas, Oregon.

Oral history interview with Sabina Haque conducted by Sankar Raman on November 11, 2017, for The Immigrant Story. Haque was born in Ohio and raised in Pakistan. She returned to the United States in the 1990s to attend Smith College and also studied art at Boston University. She became an artist and art professor at Portland State University.

Oral history interview with Farooq Hassan conducted by Sankar Raman on August 10, 2018, for The Immigrant Story. Hassan was born in Iraq and became an artist and art instructor. He immigrated to the United States in 2010.

Oral history interview with Ivan Hernandez conducted by Sankar Raman on October 17, 2017, for The Immigrant Story. Hernandez and his family came to Oregon from Mexico as undocumented immigrants when he was a child. He later became a recipient of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program and attended Portland Community College.

Oral history interview with Rand Ibraheem conducted by Sankar Raman on April 4, 2017, for The Immigrant Story. Ibraheem and her family were forced to leave Iraq in 2007 and resettled in the United States in 2014.

Oral history interview with Prashant Kakad conducted by Sankar Raman on July 20, 2017, for The Immigrant Story. Kakad immigrated to the United States from India in 2003. He attended Cornell University, worked for Intel, and became a dance teacher and DJ in Oregon.

Oral history interview with Nawid G. Khan conducted by Sankar Raman on July 11, 2017, for The Immigrant Story. Khan immigrated to the United States from Afghanistan in 2016.

Oral history interview with Janet Liu conducted by Sankar Raman and Jessica Pollard on August 10, 2018, for The Immigrant Story. Liu's father was a Chinese scientist working in the United States, and after an executive order by President John F. Kennedy allowed foreign researchers to bring their families, Liu and her mother emigrated from Taiwan in 1961. Liu was granted legal resident status in 1968 and later became a computer programmer and real estate investor.
