Humiston, Wilson and Company records
Business papers of a wholesale liquor company in Portland, Oregon, including saloon orders (1862-1864) from mining camps and towns in eastern Oregon, Washington, and Idaho, which include news of the mines and business conditions in those areas. Also included are records and correspondence of the company's predecessor, Humiston and Ma'Dan (1859-1862).

Alfred B. Humphrey was a carpenter who came to Oregon from Simsbury, Connecticut, in 1870. Collection includes correspondence, 1871-1879, to relatives in Connecticut regarding life on a small farm near Oregon City, Oregon.

John Webster Perit Huntington papers
Papers of John Webster Perit Huntington (1831-1869), who served as superintendent of Indian Affairs in Oregon from 1863 to 1869. The bulk of the papers consist of correspondence and financial records relating to Huntington's work in that role. Other materials include papers relating to the the Unionist, Huntington's newspaper and printing business; Huntington's will; and a scrapbook with handwritten satirical captions about Oregon politicians.
