Collection consists of negatives owned by the Gilliam Portrait Studio and Cemera Shop. The negatives date from 1930 to 1970 and were used to create photographic postcards. They depict landscapes, landmarks, city streets, storefronts, and tourist destinations across Oregon.

Frank S. Godfrey was a businessman in Seaside, Oregon, and a soldier in the Spanish-American War, master sergeant of Company B, 2nd Oregon Infantry. Collection includes correspondence of Birdie Ann Godfrey, 1957; ribbons and other ephemera from United States War Veterans reunions, 1898-1955; register of veterans, 1951; and Dorothy Godfrey Otto's reminiscences, 1967.
