Small collection of documents about a windstorm that struck the Pacific Northwest on October 12, 1962. Materials include a November 1962 summary of the storm by the U.S. Weather Bureau's state climatologist in Oregon; a surface analysis of the storm by the U.S. Forest Service; a copy of the official Weather Bureau record of the storm; and a brief first-person account by Frank K. Walsh.

Charles Congleton papers
Charles Congleton was born in Kentucky and moved to Oregon in 1904. He worked as a forest ranger from 1907-1927 with the Paulina Ranger District. Collection includes diaries describing Congleton's work with the Forest Service; correspondence regarding fishing and the history of the Ochoco National Forest; certificates; and autobiographical materials.
Congress of Industrial Organizations photographic collection
Collection consists of 100 black and white photographs, documents, and pages of clippings from two disassembled albums. Materials relate to news and events from the Oregon chapter of the CIO during November 1948, and to state and national CIO conventions in the mid- to late 1940s.
Oral history interview with Reverend John T. Conner
Oral history interview with Reverend John T. Conner conducted by E. Paul Hovey on January 24, 1980. Conner was campus minister for Westminster House at Oregon State University and served as moderator for the General Assembly of the United Presbyterian Church in 1977.
