Oral history interview with Ralph B. Bennett conducted by Jim Strassmaier on June 8, 1991. Bennett discusses working in public relations for the Bonneville Power Administration from 1946-1947, his association with Woody Guthrie, and living in Vanport, Oregon, at the time of the 1948 flood.

Oral history interview with Alfred T. Goodwin conducted by Rick Harmon from May 10, 1985, to September 3, 1986, as part of the United States District Court Oral History Project. Goodwin served on the Oregon Circuit Court for Lane County, the Oregon Supreme Court, the U.S. District Court, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Webster Jones (born 1904) was a book collector, a graduate of the University of Oregon, and the first aviation editor at the Oregonian newspaper in Portland. This unprocessed collection includes correspondence, diaries, scrapbooks and ephemera on subjects including Webster Jones' father, Frank G. Jones, and Charles N. Kessler; diaries of Lillian Gilstrap regarding her trips across North America in the 1920s and 1930s; and scrapbooks relating to aviation history in the Pacific Northwest.

Papers, primarily correspondence, of Ben Hur Lampman (1886-1954), a reporter and editor for the Oregonian newspaper in Portland, and Oregon's poet laureate from 1951 until his death. The collection also contains a small quantity of biographical material, ephemera, and writings.

Fred Lockley (1871-1958) was a well-known columnist for the Oregon Journal. Collection consists of reminiscences, notes and stories, circa 1920-1940, regarding Oregon pioneers, including the Lane family, and steamboating in the Pacific Northwest.

Ernest Boyd MacNaughton (1880-1960) served as president of Portland's First National Bank, president of the Oregonian Publishing Company, and president of Reed College. Papers include incorporation documents of Manhattan Company, 1925-1931, and scrapbooks, 1911-1918, regarding MacNaughton's career.

Oral history interview with Connie McCready conducted by Linda S. Dodds from April 1 to June 17, 1981. McCready was an Oregon state representative and mayor of Portland.

Alene Phillips served as the personal secretary for three Oregon governors and for Douglas McKay during his term as Secretary of the Interior. She was also a news correspondent for Salem's Capital Journal. Scrapbooks in this collection regard her personal and professional life in Oregon and Washington, D.C., including copies of her news columns and memorabilia from European and Hawaiian trips.
