Collection includes leases, contracts, insurance policies, trademark registration and other records regarding delivery services, shoplifting and various departments in the Portland store; documents regarding other properties owned by Lipman & Wolfe and materials used in construction of Vista House.

The collection consists of two items: a journal of accounts for the years 1863-64, and a ledger summarizing accounts from 1860-1879, with a page showing box rentals at the Gervais Post Office for 1881.

Holderness & Co., and Winter & Latimer of San Francisco, California. Also included are commissary accounts of the Oregon Mounted Volunteers, 1855, and a record of witness fees from the U.S. Circuit Court in Multnomah County, Oregon, 1859-1866.
