Seufert Bros. cannery plans
Collection includes 28 plans, elevations and sections on 6 sheets of a cannery for the Seufert Brothers in The Dalles, Oregon. The Seufert Bros. Company was founded in 1884 in The Dalles by brothers Francis A. and Theodore J. Seufert, whose business dominated the fish canning and packing business on the Columbia River for many years.
William Sherlock residence plans
Collection includes 1 plan on 1 sheet of a house for William Sherlock at NW 21st Ave., W. Burnside St., NW Davis St. and NW King Ave. in Portland, Oregon. Sherlock (1817-1901) was born in Ireland and migrated to Portland, Oregon, where he established a livery business in 1850. His property investments included 45 acres in northwest Portland.

Charles Emil Smith family photographic collection
Fifteen black and white photographs of Charles Emil Smith, Hedwig Smith, and family; family events; and the Smith house on the site of what is now Lair Hill Park in Portland, Oregon, between SW 2nd Avenue, SW Hooker Street, and SW Woods Street. Charles E. Smith (1839-1912) was born in Switzerland and came to Portland, Oregon, in 1863, where he established the Smith Brothers Iron Works with his brother Ferdinand. The Smith family also founded the Congress Hotel.
South Auditorium Renewal Project photograph collection
Collection consists mainly of black-and-white photographs taken circa 1965-1966 during the South Auditorium Renewal Project. The photographs show buildings during construction, as well as the surrounding area. The collection also includes four architectural floor plans and newspaper clippings about the Portland Center high-rise apartments.
