Pioneer tour photographic collection
Black and white photographs, 1913, depicting a group of early emigrants to Oregon on a tour of pioneer landmarks in the Pacific Northwest, including graveyards, residences and battle sites. Each photograph has an extensive handwritten description on the back.
Christine Pipe papers
Collection consists of a certificate of membership in the Sons and Daughters of Oregon Pioneers, June 14, 1955. Christine Pipe's grandfather, Thomas Monteith, arrived in Oregon in 1847 and helped found Albany, Oregon.

John Watermelon Redington papers
John Watermelon Redington (1851-1935) was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and moved west in 1877. He served as a U.S. scout in the 1870s and 1880s during conflicts with the Nez Perce. Collection includes a typescript, "Scouting in Montana," 16 pages, circa 1870-1879; correspondence; and Elinor Meacham Redington reminiscences.

Royal family papers
Papers of the Royal family of Oregon. Brothers Charles Royal (1798-1878) and William Royal (1796-1870) emigrated to Oregon in 1852 and 1853, respectively. William Royal was a Methodist minister who founded the Centenary Methodist Church (later Centenary-Wilbur Methodist Church) in East Portland; his sons Thomas Fletcher Royal (1821-1911) and James Henry Bascom Royal (1830-1910) were also Methodist ministers.
