Collection consists of programs, 1918-1958, regarding the Eugene Gleemen, Lewis and Clark College, First Presbyterian Church and others. John Stark Evans was an organist and choirmaster at the First Presbyterian Church in Portland, Oregon, director of the Lewis and Clark College School of Music, and associate dean of music at the University of Oregon.

Collection includes manuscripts of musical compositions, sketches, notebooks, and clippings of Portland Civic Opera Association and Theater Arts Opera Association, 1947-1966. Eugene Fuerst was conductor and director of the Portland Civic Opera Association and Theater Arts Opera Association.

Frederick William Goodrich (1867-1942) was a composer, organist and choir director in Portland, Oregon. Collection consists of original scores and arrangements, primarily of religious music, as performed in Portland-area churches, circa 1895-1930; an unpublished history of the Portland Symphony Orchestra, 1899-1933; and reports regarding the Oregon Music Project, 1935-1942.

Hilmar Birger Grondahl (born 1899) was the music editor of the Oregonian newspaper from 1933-1977. Collection includes scrapbooks with newspaper clippings of Grondahl's reviews concerning musical events in Portland, Oregon, and elsewhere.

Sheet music composed or arranged by Zimri M. Parvin (1843-1921), who served as dean of the College of Music at Willamette University in Salem, Oregon, and director of the Albany Conservatory of Music in Albany, Oregon. Parvin also helped to found the Northwestern Normal School of Music and Art in Portland, Oregon.

Sheet music and compact disc of piano compositions by Blanche Patecky (1904-1996). Patecky was a musician and painter in Portland, Oregon. Her compositions were published for the first time in 2016 by musician and composer Matthew Lauser.
