Abstract

Small collection of twelve black and white photographs and photographic postcards. Images include: the Burns stagecoach on the way to Austin, Oregon; a panorama of Vista House in the Columbia River Gorge; the Clatsop County Courthouse in Astoria, Oregon; and a portrait of BiMet Mine night shift employees. Also included are portraits, primarily of unidentified adults.

Abstract Collection consists of pages from a disbound photograph album compiled by the Old Oregon Trail Centennial Commission and presented to the Oregon Historical Society. The photographs depict people, places, events, and other scenes associated with the Old Oregon Trail Centennial, and caption information is included.
