Oral history interview with Charles L. Hayward conducted by Jim Strassmaier from April 13 to May 4, 1994, as a sequel to an earlier interview conducted in 1979 by Linda S. Dodds. Hayward served as a balloon lookout for the U.S. Army during World War I and later manufactured time switches and clock motors.
