Clement Adams Bradbury letters
Manuscript letters from his mother, Clarissa Adams Bradbury, relatives in Maine, and a brother, Stephen Bradbury, in the California gold fields. Collection also includes genealogical material.
Benjamin Burden Branson papers
Benjamin Branson lived in Sheridan, Oregon, and was the first president of the Dayton-Sheridan narrow gauge railroad. Collection includes an autobiographical sketch, including a short account of an overland journey to Oregon in 1848 and gold-mining activities in Yreka, California, and Jacksonville, Oregon; a manuscript diary, February 19-June 4, 1872; and papers regarding Branson's estate.

Edward L. Bushnell diary and notebook
Collection includes manuscript diary, 1895, regarding a prospecting trip to Yukon along with four partners from Bridal Veil, Oregon; and a manuscript notebook, 1888-1897, with accounts, song lyrics, and poems.
William Bybee papers
Collection consists of an account book of the Bybee & Newman mine and other accounts, 1881-1883; chattel mortgage from Bybee to William Kahler, 1883; blank William Bybee mine gross production report, 1887; Bybee and C. Decker accounts, 1887. William Bybee owned and operated a placer mine in Josephine County and built one of the largest mining ditches in Southern Oregon.
California collection
Collection includes manuscript letters from H. B. Smith to his wife, May 11, 1855, regarding work in the Jacksonville mines; student relief pass-card, circa 1906, issued by Stanford University to students volunteering to provide relief to victims of the 1906 San Francisco earthquake; and an invitation to the Grand Anniversary Ball, July 4, 1856.

Collection consists of a stock certificate issued to Charles Lunstrom, September 25, 1912. Comer Mines Company was a gold mining company headquartered in Portland, Oregon. Its mine was located in Grant County, north of Prairie City, Oregon, along Dixie Creek, locally known as Present Need Mine.
