Photocopy typescript of a thesis presented to the Division of History and Social Sciences at Reed College in Portland, Oregon. Eduard Chambreau was a scout and special messenger to General O. O. Howard from 1878-1880.

Typescript Ed. D. thesis and abstract, titled "A History of the Irreducible School Fund in Oregon," by Norman Ray Hawk, for the University of Oregon.

Collection includes a broadside, "To Patrons of Husbandry," November 20, 1878, and letters and papers of L. M. Mitchell, 1913-1914, relating to the Murphy Grange No. 470, Murphy, Oregon, and to cooperative buying and other organizing by granges. Also included is a typescript thesis, "The Oregon Grange and Public Power, 1930-1940," by Timothy C. Clark.

Two versions of a typescript thesis by C. G. Springer, written for the University of Oregon School of Education in partial fulfillment of a master of arts degree. A longer bound version of the thesis, 83 pages, is titled "A History of Philomath College" and dated July 20, 1929. Also included is an unbound condensed version titled "Philomath College, 1865-1930." Both versions have handwritten notes and corrections.
