Abstract

Albert S. Roberts (1862-1933) was born in White Salmon, Washington, and his family moved to The Dalles in 1865. He was a wheat grower and sheep rancher and represented Wasco County as a Republican in the Oregon State Legislature. Topics in his diaries include his college days at the University of Oregon, farm life, his marriage to Rose Freeman, work in the state Legislature, and miscellaneous personal and family activities.
