Oral history interview with James A. Redden conducted by Michael O'Rourke from November 30, 1994, to January 14, 2002, as part of the United States District Court Oral History Project. Redden was an Oregon state representative, state treasurer, state attorney general, and a judge on the U.S. District Court of Oregon.

Max Rijken, a Democrat, represented Newport in the Oregon State Legislature, 1975-1987. This unprocessed collection consists primarily of state legislative bills and related papers, as well as government and serial publications. Materials also include correspondence.

Albert S. Roberts (1862-1933) was born in White Salmon, Washington, and his family moved to The Dalles in 1865. He was a wheat grower and sheep rancher and represented Wasco County as a Republican in the Oregon State Legislature. Topics in his diaries include his college days at the University of Oregon, farm life, his marriage to Rose Freeman, work in the state Legislature, and miscellaneous personal and family activities.
