Papers and family photographs of Lucia S. Fear (1862-1957). Fear was born in 1862 in Kansas, and worked as a lawyer there in the early 1880s. She and her family later moved to Portland, Oregon, where she participated in the Mazamas climb of Mt. Hood in 1894 and was a member of the Portland Woman's Club.

Otten & Son of Portland, Oregon, showing proposed retaining wall, drainage systems, and sewer connections for the Catlin Hillside School in Portland. The firm was run by landscape architect and engineer George H. Otten (1889-1978) and his son George W. Otten (1923-2016). Catlin Hillside School would later merge with Gabel School to become Catlin Gabel School.
