Oral history interview with Richard D. Daugherty, conducted by Clark Hansen on January 24, 2000, as part of the Columbia River Dissenters Oral History Series. Daugherty talks about his work as an archaeologist excavating the Marmes Rockshelter site in Washington. He discusses the flooding of the site after the failure of a levee that had been built to protect the site from inundation by construction of the Lower Monumental Dam on the Snake River in 1966.
