Abstract Jesse Albert Currey (1873-1927) was sales manager for the Portland district of Trussed Concrete Steel Co. He also wrote a column about gardening and founded the International Rose Test Garden in Portland, Oregon. Abstract

This collection is made up of glass lantern slides created for the Portland Garden Club in the 1930s. The club was founded in 1924. Subjects depicted in the collection include the Kerr Gardens, the Frank and Meier estates, and various urban, suburban, and country gardens.
