William L. Finley (1876-1953) was a naturalist and photographer. He was instrumental in the conservation movement and establishment of the Tule Lake-Lower Klamath and Malheur Bird Refuges. Abstract
John Yeon (1910-1994) worked for the firm of A.E. Doyle & Associates and is credited, along with Pietro Belluschi, with the development of the Northwest Regional style of architecture. Yeon was also a dedicated conservationist who donated land to the state parks system.
