Abstract

Oregon National Guard Captain Ogilvie D. Henderson of Woodburn, Oregon, was fatally shot, along with Clackamas County Sheriff John R. Shaver, while attempting to apprehend Frank Smith, the suspected murderer of George Hanlon, an Oregon City nightwatchman. Collection consists of obituaries, eulogies, and letters of condolence to Henderson's wife, Minnie Henderson.
