Carl Moser (1897-1961) was a charter member of the American Legion in 1919 and served as commander of the Silverton Legion post, Oregon Department Adjutant, 1924-1942, Oregon Department Commander, 1955, and on various Legion commissions at the national level. Collection includes scrapbooks with photographs, clippings, etc., regarding Moser's activities with the American Legion, including conventions, speeches, and Memorial Day observations.

Records include correspondence, constitution and bylaws, financial records, membership programs, and memorabilia, 1945-1978.
