Vernon Harpham was supervisor of the Deschutes National Forest (1915-1916) and of the Umpqua National Forest (1930-1945). Collection consists of typescript carbon copy correspondence, 1932, regarding personnel changes in the Umpqua National Forest; typescript carbon copy radio address transcripts, 1944-1945, regarding forest fires, grazing on national forests, and Umpqua forest activities; and a program for Harpham's retirement party, 1946.
