Arthur R. Kirkham (1897-1981) was a longtime radio newscaster for KOIN in Portland, Oregon. Collection includes scrapbooks, correspondence and miscellaneous personal papers regarding Kirkham's experiences in World War I and his radio career.

Miscellaneous correspondence and other records regarding the movement against hydroelectric development on the rivers and other water resources of Linn and adjacent counties in Oregon, including protest action by the Santiam Fish and Game Protective Association, the Marion County Game Protective Association and the Oregon Game Protective Association.

Collection includes correspondence, speeches, reports, and pamphlets regarding Leona Weatherford's involvement in the conservation movement and women's clubs in Oregon. Weatherford was president of the Oregon Federation of Women's Clubs and chair of the Conservation of Natural Resources Department of the General Federation of Women's Clubs.
