Thompson's estate; personal correspondence to Mary Relief Thompson, wife of David P. Thompson; and microfilm of letters sent to David P. Thompson from family members in Cadiz, Ohio. Thompson (1834-1901) was a businessman and mayor of Portland, Oregon.

Papers relating to the business career and family of Thomas Kerr, Jr. (1910-1982). Kerr lived in Portland, Oregon, and was an executive of several grain trading firms, including Kerr Gifford & Co. Inc., Kerr Pacific Corporation, and Helix Milling Company.

Ernest Boyd MacNaughton (1880-1960) served as president of Portland's First National Bank, president of the Oregonian Publishing Company, and president of Reed College. Papers include incorporation documents of Manhattan Company, 1925-1931, and scrapbooks, 1911-1918, regarding MacNaughton's career.
