Brooklyn Parent Teacher Association records
The Brooklyn Parent Teacher Association was founded in 1903 as the Brooklyn Mother's Club and sought to promote the welfare of children and youth in the school and in the community. Collection includes minutes, treasurer's reports, newsletters, correspondence, membership directories, publicity materials, historian's reports (1951-1981, incomplete), memorabilia from local, state and national PTA meetings, and a scrapbook.
Concentrated Employment Program records
Records of a federally sponsored educational and employment program for low-income individuals in selected Portland neighborhoods. Collection includes project proposals and applications, contractor agreements, and budget reports and statistics.
Lorraine Fletcher papers
Lorraine Fletcher was a teacher from 1926-1971, primarily in Portland, Oregon, where she worked from 1936-1971. Papers consist of teaching records, 1926-1976, including contracts, evaluations, and transfer records; and documentation of Fletcher's battle with the City of Portland over proposed zoning changes on her Southwest Portland property.
