Abbett family papers
Abbett family papers include programs of the Portland Flute Club, 1921-1926; a diary of Mrs. J. T. Abbett, 1911-1915; typescript "History of Women's Foreign Missionary Work in the Pacific Northwest" by Mrs. J. T. Abbett, 1929; and diaries and letters of Myra Leanna (Abbett) Adams, 1890-1963.
Mary J. Allen family letters
Typescript copies of letters written by Mary J. Allen (1836-1893), her husband H. A. Allen (1818-1882), and her stepsons Anson G. Allen (1849-1891) and Carleton B. Allen (1858-1924). The letters describe life at military posts in Washington state and Alaska. The collection also includes an introductory biographical sketch of H. A. Allen and historical information about San Juan Island, Washington.

Celilo Railroad Bridge collection
The Celilo Bridge, also called the Oregon Trunk Rail Bridge, crosses the Columbia River just south of where Celilo Falls was located. Collection includes a general plan of the bridge and a typescript description of the bridge's construction with descriptions of photographic views.

Jeannette McPherson Gates was a Northwest poet, author, teacher, and historian. She earned her MBA in 1949 and was active in the NAACP, Citizens for Inter-racial Understanding, and Democratic Women of Multnomah County. Collection consists of a typescript book regarding Gates' own life and the history of the civil rights movement.

Early history of Tillamook
Original handwritten manuscript of "Early History of Tillamook," by Warren N. Vaughn, as well as typescript and microfilm copies. The collection also includes biographical information about Vaughn (1823-1907), who traveled to California in 1849 to mine for gold before living in Dayton, Oregon. In 1852, he journeyed to Tillamook, Oregon, where he would reside for the rest of his life, working as a farmer and cooper, and holding multiple roles in local government.
J. Otto George papers
Collection consists primarily of a typescript photocopy compilation, "Old Stories of the Arctic Eskimo," 1978. Also included are two letters to Ruth Whitcomb regarding the Finnish community in Clatskanie, Oregon.
C. E. Hein papers
Collection consists of a typescript, "Captain Nathaniel J. Wyeth's Journey up the Deschutes River in 1834-35," 7 pages, undated, regarding the plotting of a trail that differs from that of the Ralph Shane maps. Also included is a typescript letter to Thomas Vaughan, January 31, 1971, regarding corrections in plotting Peter Skene Ogden's 1824-1826 expeditions in Snake Country.
Blaine H. McGillicuddy collection
Collection includes a typescript carbon copy document titled "Yacolt Fire, Clark County, Washington, 1902," containing an interview with Herbert Straub of Eugene, Oregon, and the press record of the fire; and a typescript carbon copy document titled "Mima Prairie Notes," with maps of a proposed ship canal from the Columbia River to Puget Sound.
