Letter from William Roberts (1812-1888) to William Kibbs, which includes Roberts' impressions of the Oregon Territory. Roberts was a Methodist missionary who was the superintendent of the Oregon Methodist Mission from 1847 to 1853, and was a trustee of Willamette University in Salem, Oregon.

Papers of a family of pioneers of Polk County, Oregon. Most of the materials are letters from family members in Illinois, New Jersey, Missouri, and Oregon. Many of the letters were sent to Amanda Robertson, Mary Ann Robertson and James P. Robertson, including many from E. R. Metcalf of Jacksonville, Illinois; from Libbie Teeple, of Pluckemin, New Jersey; and from members of the Riggs family.

Collection consists of manuscript correspondence to Edward G. Robinson and his wife, Frances Robinson, 1918-1929, from friends and business associates in Oregon and Tennessee, mostly regarding the flax industry in Oregon and the United States. Also included are miscellaneous documents regarding the flax industry. Robinson owned an electric company in Aurora, Oregon. He traveled to Europe to study flax culture and linen manufacture.
