Manuscript financial records of Mt. Tabor Villa, and an account book kept by H. C. Campbell for Mt. Tabor Villa, concerning improvements of land, with plat map. The neighborhood, located in the southeast quadrant of Portland, Oregon, later became known as Montavilla.
Carpenter family papers
The Carpenter family owned large amounts of land in Portland, Oregon, and Clark County, Washington. Family members included Gwendoline Carpenter, Isabelle Carpenter and Royal E. Carpenter. Collection includes title abstract and warranty deeds, 1900-1956, for land in Portland and Clark County; account books, 1910-1943; plat maps of Carpenter's Addition in Marysville, Washington, undated; and miscellaneous documents, 1892-1956.
