Ladd family photographs
Photographs relating to the Ladd family of Portland, Oregon, dating from 1860 to 1920. The Ladd family were bankers, real estate developers, philanthropists, and politicians in Portland. Collection also includes an album of Columbia River Gorge photographs taken by Sarah Hall Ladd and Lily E. White.
Lily E. White negatives
Collection consists primarily of glass and film negatives attributed to Lily E. White. The negatives depict the Columbia River Gorge, Yosemite National Park, Yellowstone National Park, the California coast, the home of Sarah Hall Ladd and her husband, Charles Elliott Ladd, and Lily E. White’s houseboat, the Raysark. The photographs date from approximately 1900 to 1915.
