Abstract

Oral history interview with Mark Bocek conducted by Jim Strassmaier on April 21, 1979. Bocek immigrated to the United States from Poland and served in the U.S. Army. He played clarinet in the U.S. Army band while stationed in the Philippines from 1910 to 1912. He lived in Tillamook, Oregon, during the Tillamook Burn.

Dutch Schultz discusses her family backround, her experiences raising a child while living in the Philippines after World War II, and her work for NASA as an employee of the Pan American airline.
