Tourtellotte & Hummel was an early 20th century architectural firm headed by John E. Tourtellotte (1869-1939) and Charles F. Hummel (1857-1939). Tourtellotte later paired with Truman E. Phillips (1902-1989).

Collection includes constitution; pamphlets; membership lists; papers regarding club activities; papers regarding the Oregon Federation of Women's Clubs, the General Federation of Women's Clubs, and the Portland Federation of Women's Organizations; a guest book; and minute books.

Roughly half of the images depict unidentified firefighters, fire engines, and firehouses of the Portland Fire Department in Portland, Oregon, as well as fire department floats in the Portland Rose Parade. The remaining images consist of unidentified family snapshots, including portraits of adults and children, and images of vehicles, houses, outdoor scenes, and boats and ships.
