Abstract

Twelve black and white photographs of the exterior and interior of the Frank M. Warren house at 969 SW St. Clair St. (originally 215 W. St. Clair St.) in Portland, Oregon. Warren (1876-1947) was the long-time president of the Port of Portland, a salmon packer and member of the Oregon State Fish Commission. His house was designed by Whidden & Lewis.

Frank E. Watkins (1877-1940) was a Portland, Oregon, real estate broker and director of the Multnomah Amateur Athletic Club. He also served on the Portland City Council. Papers include correspondence, 1910-1922, primarily regarding his participation in various clubs and societies around Portland; scrapbooks, 1903-1916, containing award certificates, photographs, newspaper clippings, and ephemera relating to dogs, dog shows, and the Portland Kennel Club.
