Rev. Mark A. Chamberlin papers
Reverend Mark A. Chamberlin (born 1899) was a Methodist pastor and national officer in the Methodist Federation for Social Action. He hosted the "Religion and Life" program on KBOO radio, Portland, from 1971-1977. Papers include correspondence with KBOO; correspondence regarding the deportation of H.S. MacKay; notes and program materials from conferences attended by Chamberlin; and miscellaneous materials from the Oregon Chapter of the Methodist Federation for Social Action.

Cheryl Dawn James was an 18-year-old African-American woman from Portland, Oregon. In 1971, she was convicted of assaulting an FBI agent who came to the James' residence to arrest her brother, Charles T. James Jr., who was absent without leave from the Navy. Collection includes correspondence, financial records, news clippings and ephemera regarding the case and the work of the Cheryl James Defense Committee Fund.

Clement G. Clarke collection
Clement G. Clarke was pastor of the First Congregational Church, Portland, Oregon, 1923-1928. Before coming to Portland, he had been forced to resign from positions in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and Peoria, Illinois. Collection consists of typescript carbon copies of newspaper articles from Minneapolis and Peoria, 1911-1915, regarding Clarke's activities as pastor in those communities, and telegrams to the Oregonian, 1926-1928, regarding Clarke's character.
David Dexter Clarke papers
The collection consists of narratives written by David Dexter Clarke concerning his professional experiences and personal history, along with notes and some items of correspondence. Clarke (1844-1923) emigrated to Oregon in 1864, and worked as a surveyor and civil engineer in the Pacific Northwest for 53 years. From 1893 until his retirement in 1917, he worked for the water bureau in Portland, Oregon, serving as the head of the department for most of that time.

Manuscript and galley proofs for a book by Jack Ramsay (1925-2014) and John Strawn, "The Coach's Art," along with reproductions of correspondence and a training outline that were included in the book. Ramsay coached the Portland Trail Blazers basketball team in Portland, Oregon, from 1976 to 1986, and later worked as a basketball broadcast commentator.
