Abstract

Chester Alexander Moores (1889-1975) was a realtor and civic leader in Portland, Oregon. He was vice president of the Commonwealth, Inc., 1932-1960. He was a member of the Housing Authority of Portland, 1941-1945, and chairman from 1944-1945. This unprocessed collection includes correspondence, memos, minutes, reports, speeches, newspaper clippings, scrapbooks, and memorabilia regarding Moores' business and civic activities.
