Register ledger for the Morris Hotel in Florence, Oregon, for February to June 1890. The hotel's proprietor at the time was E. A. Hart. The ledger also contains a small number of entries, some from 1908 and some from an unspecified date, that appear to relate to meat sales and farmwork.

The Oregon Provisional Legislature formed the Oregon Board of Pilot Commissioners in 1846 to regulate pilotage on the Columbia River.

Records of the company that built and owned the Portland Hotel in Portland, Oregon. The hotel operated from 1890 to the 1940s and was, for a time, the city's grandest. The collection includes minutes of board meetings, stock records, articles of incorporation, a color brochure from the 1890s, and a hotel register from 1890.

Albert M. Southwick was a native of Salem, Oregon, and served with the Oregon Volunteer Infantry 2nd Regiment in the Spanish-American War. Collection includes correspondence with family, 1898-1907, regarding army life and conditions in Manila, Philippines; rosters and booklets describing the Oregon Volunteer Infantry, 1898; and newspaper clippings regarding the Spanish-American War, 1898-1899.

Records of the Tillamook Rock Light Station (also known as Tillamook Rock Lighthouse), including correspondence, historical information, record books, and a visitors register. Much of the correspondence relates to a severe storm the lighthouse suffered in October 1934. The Tillamook Rock Light Station, located on a rock about 1.2 miles west of Tillamook Head, Oregon, began operations in 1881 and was closed in 1957.
