The Celilo Bridge, also called the Oregon Trunk Rail Bridge, crosses the Columbia River just south of where Celilo Falls was located. Collection includes a general plan of the bridge and a typescript description of the bridge's construction with descriptions of photographic views.

César E. Chávez Boulevard Committee records
Records of the César E. Chávez Boulevard Committee, and press coverage of their activities, primarily from newspapers. The committee campaigned from 2007 to 2009 to name a street in Portland, Oregon, after Latino labor activist César E. Chávez (1927-1993). After a series of contentious hearings and adoption of a resolution to clarify the process of renaming strees, the Portland City Council voted to rename 39th Avenue as César E. Chávez Boulevard in July 2009.

Stephen James Chadwick speech
Typescript copy of a speech delivered by Stephen James Chadwick at the annual meeting of the Oregon Historical Society, October 25, 1930, containing reminiscences of his childhood in Roseburg, Oregon, his friendship with Jesse Applegate, and other topics. Chadwick (1863-1931) was born in Roseburg and later was a lawyer, judge, and state Supreme Court justice in Washington. He was the son of Stephen Fowler Chadwick, who served as Oregon secretary of state and Oregon governor.

Jeannette McPherson Gates was a Northwest poet, author, teacher, and historian. She earned her MBA in 1949 and was active in the NAACP, Citizens for Inter-racial Understanding, and Democratic Women of Multnomah County. Collection consists of a typescript book regarding Gates' own life and the history of the civil rights movement.
Chamber Music Northwest records
Collection consists of correspondence, minutes and financial reports, 1976-1977; newsletter, 1 volume, 1976, with events and biographies of participating musicians. Sergiu Luca, an acclaimed Israeli violinist, founded Chamber Music Northwest in 1971 after coming to Portland for a music recital.
George E. Chamberlain papers
Papers of George E. Chamberlain (1854-1928), who was attorney general for and then governor of Oregon, and then a U.S. senator for Oregon. The collection consists primarily of correspondence written during Chamberlain's time as governor.
