Anna Birchman diary
Manuscript diary of Anna Birchman (nee Anna Björkman, later Anna Birchman Mills), written in Swedish, with entries dating from December 18, 1890-January 14, 1891. Birchman wrote the diary in the form of a letter home to her family during her emigration from the Dalarna province in Sweden to Portland, Oregon. Also included are a typescript English translation and an edited version of that translation in the form of a pamphlet published in 2006.

Collection consists of typescript notes and research, circa 1950-1976, for William N. Bischoff's edited and annotated "We Were Not Summer Soldiers: the Indian War Diary of Plympton J. Kelly, 1855-56."

Collection consists primarily of photostat letters from Z. C. Bishop to family, 1837-1856, with typed transcripts. Also included is a photocopy newspaper clipping with genealogical information about descendants; a photograph of the grave of Mary Ann Bishop, wife of Z. C. Bishop; and a typescript index to articles and archival materials about Bishop.
