An octogenarian's childhood on the western frontier
Collection consists of Elizabeth Reed Brent's reminiscences of her childhood in Picard, California, now called Dorris, from the late 1890s to 1906. Brent's family moved from Iowa to Keno, Oregon, in 1891, and she was born in Keno in 1895. From there, the family moved to Picard and later to Chico, California.
