Collection includes miscellaneous Oregon memorabilia, 1942-1979, including World War II ration books, books, menus, newspaper clippings, religious pamphlets, letterhead from hotels and committees, and greeting cards. Thelma G. Bengs (born 1909) was a nurse and volunteer at the Oregon Historical Society.

Papers include notes and correspondence regarding rivers and streams of Oregon and the Oregon State Fair. Addison Bennett (1845-1924) was editor of the Oregon Irrigator, the first newspaper in Irrigon, Oregon, and was for many years a staff writer for the Oregonian.
